Good afternoon I have the 2023 Dodge Challenger RT shakedown edition are used the same damn tube that fits on the air breather on the driver side and I use the same concept as damn tube on the passenger side. Just turned it in Word.

Any chance you remember the size and pitch of the bolts on the posts that screw into the frame brace? At first I thought mine has threads but after watching another video on this now I have no idea. Do you at least know if they were SAE or metric?

Mine doesn't retract like it used to. Tried greasing it up. No bueno. Any idea how to fix it?

How's the leather holding up? I've seen a lot of loose laguna leather seats makes me scared to go w/ the laguna leather.

Hi, do you happen to know if the spoiler installed covers the same part of the trunk as the previous spoiler did? My challenger has some rock chips and damaged paint which are covered by the OEM one (previous owner apparently masked the issue by installing a spoiler) and I wondered if it would sit the same to avoid repainting the trunk.

No problem with the stock shifter but this other looks cool

I plan on buying this for my 23 SXT. I keep hearing and seeing what a pain those 4 rear bolts are. So what I'm going to do is remove the 4 clips, Drill the holes out to 3/8" and use special 1/4 20 riv nuts. Will be much easier and plenty strong enough.

What a coincidence. I came here looking for the drain hole locations. My "leak"was on the passenger side. But once I started checking, it was the driver side that was clogged. Weird that the leak shows on the opposite side. Luckily I was able to clear with compressed air, but I kept the air on lower pressure (40psi)

Good stuff, finding info on our newer model Dodges is hard to find.

In your video it looks like the alarm sounds nearly instantly on your phone. I've had mine for a few days and I either get no alarm at all or at best it will sound 3-5 minutes later. Why is that? Also get no notifications EVER for vibrations. I can literally slam the door and nada.

Honestly this is cool. I wonder if it’s possible for the Tazer to be made to utilize the engine immobilizer and/or kill the engine if necessary.

Is there some kind of attachment where I can put on the rear camera to be able to rotate it so I can use it as a rear or interior camera.

Can a would be thief just reach under the dash and remove the Tazer module and then carry on with the theft? This assumes of course that they have gained entry by any of the various means thieves use to do so.

Had same prob when was driving with my dads 2010 sxt charger. 23 charger scat pack later same subs same problem wtf lol. I jus stuffed a coup peice foam type shit in 3 places and helps alot but they rattle out so got do something better

My 2020 R/T has an active exhaust. When it’s put in sport mode you can hear, see (RPM) and feel the difference. Great video!

Just wanted to say thank you for making and sharing this video because it was super easy to follow and made installing the Barton in my 2023 Blacktop Edition Challenger R/T a breeze! I used to be a mechanic years ago but got burnt out and ended up getting out of the field, so I knew that I was capable but it had been a while since I tackled something like this so I was hesitant on getting a Barton shifter.. but after coming across and watching your video about a week ago I went ahead ordered the Barton, and I just installed it yesterday and everything went smooth as butter so just wanted to thank you for this awesome walk through!! I'm so glad that I decided to pull the trigger and get a Barton for mine because the difference it makes compared to the stock shifter is just unbelievable, and the one that I got came with the adjustable yoke so it's awesome having the freedom to adjust it to exactly wherever it feels most comfortable for you. I also saw the one you posted where you swapped out the ball with a pistol grip and that's something I'll definitely be considering doing to mine in the future, but since I just got mine I'm still loving how the ball looks and feels but it's nice knowing the option is there (and that it's super easy to swap out) if I'm ever wanting to change it up. The next mod that I'm considering, and especially now that I have a Barton shifter, is the clutch fluid reduction valve (I think that's what it's called) delete, because I like the idea of having stickier clutch engagements but still looking into it to see if there are any major negatives that might come along with it. Anyway thank you again for the awesome walk through for the Barton shifter install because like many others have said it helped me out tremendously and I'm really glad I came across it!!

That sound would be a no go. Standing in line at the store and you all of a sudden your phone sounds like a 5 alarm radioactive explosion warning… no thanks. Make it so you can pick the sound and alert style I’m in. Also make it unlock the car as I approach. Maybe it does and I missed it? Great idea but that sound is a no go.

Is the gas tank underneath the back bottom of the frame?or is there the frame then a plastic tank

Finally! After wading through 5 other install videos (including the Barton video), they were all for pre-2015 Challengers with the plastic retainer for the boot. Finally saw this one, and cutting that o-ring worked great! Yeah, with the leather that thick, you can't work the boot all the way down, but I see that yours fit they way it did on my 2018. Great tip!

First. Thank you! i got was able to follow the video and it done. small problem. i lost one of the rubber boots. it feel into that little space below where its supposed to go and its stuck in there. Got no way to reach it lol. Now i need to order those pieces. Harbor Freight has a sale and i was able to get the all the tools and the jack for very cheap.

Soo I was driving and out of nowhere I had no gear shifter. Just all slush. I later realized I could kinda slop it into gear if I was really careful. Well I finally pull the shifter and the 10mm bolt and both clips had broken off and jettisoned out. Idk how this happened but I'm sure glad I didn't keep driving it like that. Jeeeeze. This video is a life saver. Literally
